Kunduz Massacre

In a mosque of Kunduz these children were supposed to be graduating today for memorising the Holy Quran & receive gifts. Instead they received a brutal air strike from an Afghan military helicopter.

On April 2, 2018 the air strike hit a mosque & religions school, killing and wounding around 150 people most of them were the students. The air strike hit the ceremony for which hundreds had gathered in the mosque to attend the graduation ceremony of their children.
The children were dressed so well and were so happy. Because it was the biggest day of their lives. But everything was destroyed and the area filled with dead bodies & body parts of innocent children and their relatives.
I must say states should focus on formulating policies to save children in war-torn countries. Instead focusing & making more powerful and deadliest war weapons like nuclear weapons and other ballistic missiles.
All children equally deserve a healthy & peaceful life, the opportunity to learn, live and protection from attacks in conflicting countries like Afghanistan and Syria. Air attacks rob all of this from innocent children and what they get is just death. Hundreds of innocent children are dying in Afghanistan and Syria.
The international community such formulate international laws and standards to protect children who are at risk of air strikes in conflicting countries.
It is hard to dream about a future when incidents like Kunduz are happening. We are responsible to protect and these children a secure future. They deserve "Peace" not "war".

  1. This is state terrorism. Killing of any innocent human or animal is wrong.
