Destiny Center for the Destitute 

After became a part of International Cities Of Peace. I got opportunity to interact with people from different parts of the world. I came to knew about their efforts for humanity, how they are playing role in peace building and for the welfare of under preliviged. 

      One of such amazing human beings is Mr Joseph Daema Samura. He is the founder of DCD. He is a social worker with over seven years experience in project management & implementation, including community services. 

         Destiny Center for Destitute is an orgnization that provides basic needs for the less privileged children. DCD was founded in 2015. The aim behind was to help street children and orphans. To ensure that all children have access to food, shelter, medical care and education. 

         There are a high number of refugees in Guinea. The republic of Guinea is located on the Atlantic Coast of West Africa with population of around 10.5million people. Guinea has suffered decades of political and social unrest, partly due to the instability of the countries that surround it. Many refugees arrived in Guinea due to the conflict in neighbouring countries Liberia,  Sierra Leone and Ivory Coast. Many children in the region lost their parents during that past rebel wars and internal conflicts. Because of such internal and external conflicts Guinea remains one of poorest in the whole world. Children are the ones who suffered most.

          DCD is located in Conakry of Guinea. They have the Destiny English Academy for orphans. With very limited resources  they are educating children in a remarkable way. The
school is located in an unfinished structure without a fence and toilet. Only temporary arrangements has been made by the school authorities. Even DCD does not posses a proper building for orphanage so the children stay with different volunteer families. DCD is facing so much challenges to accommodate, educate and support a number of orphan children. . Nonetheless they need to build a building for orphanage.

        Destiny Center for Destitute is trying to support and protect orphan children from malnutrition, underage marriage, child labour, domestic helpers, child abuse, child prostitution and trafficking for illegal labour.

          DCD needs support & donations to build a properly constructed building for school and orphanage to put in place all possibilities of their shelter , schooling , food ,security and welfare for a better future.
